Buffering (2023)

Buffering series 2

(ITV, 2023)

Buffering follows the lives of kids’ TV presenter Iain, played by Iain Stirling, and his housemates Ashley, Rosie, Greg and Thalia - played by Rosa Robson, Jessie Cave, Paul G Raymond and Janine Harouni - as they attempt to navigate the choppy waters of their late twenties, with every wrong decision, failed relationship and wasted hungover day intensifying the feeling that time is running out for them to get their 'adult' lives in order. Helping them along the way is Iain’s on-off (mostly off) girlfriend Olivia, played by Elena Saurel, and his overly detail-driven (irritating) colleague Finn, played by Steve Bugeja.

They'll be joined by guest stars Laura Whitmore, Emily Atack, David Carlyle, Tony Way, Melvin Odoom, Tyne-Lexy Clarson, Sophie Duker and Gordon Kane.

Produced by Avalon and Executive Produced by Richard Allen-Turner and Jon Thoday, Buffering is written by Iain Stirling and Steve Bugeja, co-written by Christine Robertson, Sally O’Leary, Janine Harouni, and Jessie Cave with Sam Michell producing and Sophie King directing.

BUFFERING will be on ITV2 and ITVX from January 2023, 6x 30 mins
